Discipline & Conduct

Every student is expected to contribute positively to the discipline and culture of the school. Punctuality, respect, and responsibility are the foundation of student life at St. Paul’s.

Attendance & Punctuality

All students must be present in school on time. Repeated absence without valid reason may lead to disciplinary action.

Uniform & Appearance

Students should come to school in clean, neat, and proper uniform. Fancy or costly ornaments are strictly prohibited. Every student must carry their identity card daily.

Language Policy

English is the medium of instruction. Students are required to converse in English even in private conversations within the school premises to strengthen communication skills.

Cleanliness & Care of Property

It is the duty of all students to keep classrooms and surroundings clean and orderly. Dustbins must be used appropriately. Any damage to school property must be reported immediately to the class teacher or Principal. The person responsible will be fined or required to repair the damage.

Dismissal Policy

The school reserves the right to dismiss students whose diligence or progress is unsatisfactory, whose conduct is harmful to others, or whose guardians show no interest in their ward’s progress. Immorality, grave insubordination, contempt of authority, or willful damage to property are sufficient grounds for immediate dismissal.

Classroom & Recess Rules

During recess, students are expected to leave classrooms and go to the ground. No student may leave class during teaching periods without permission.

Prohibited Items

Students are not allowed to bring novels, newspapers, periodicals, comics, mobile phones, transistors, or any objectionable items to school.

Behavior on Campus

Running and shouting in the school premises is forbidden. Orderly conduct is expected at all times.

Leaving School Premises

No student shall leave the school premises during school hours without a written application from parents, countersigned by the Principal. Parents or guardians must accompany the child if late or leaving early.

Collections & Contributions

No collection for any purpose may be made in the school without prior permission of the Principal.

Safety & Responsibility

The school takes all possible care to safeguard children within the campus. However, it will not be held responsible for mishaps outside the school after hours.

Photographs & Identification

Students requesting attestation of photographs must be photographed in proper school uniform.

Leave & Absence

Leave of absence requires prior written permission from parents/guardians except in unforeseen circumstances. Repeated absence for more than ten consecutive days without leave may result in removal from the rolls. Re-admission, if granted, will require payment of re-admission fees.

Vacation & Medical Rules

Attendance on the opening day after vacations is compulsory. Absentees without leave will be fined. Absence due to sickness must be supported by a medical certificate.

Chickenpox: Six days after disappearance of first crop of vesicles.

Measles: Seven days from appearance of rash.

Mumps: Nine days after swelling of salivary glands subsides.


🤝 Parent–School Partnership

Maximum co-operation between parents and the school is essential for drawing out the best in every child.

Parents are joint educators and must instill respect and strict obedience to school rules in their children.

As the medium of instruction is English, parents are encouraged to help children practice English conversation at home.

Parents must sign reports, test copies, teacher’s remarks, and other documents to remain in close touch with their child’s progress.

Parents are not permitted to visit classrooms during school hours.

No teacher should be approached for private tuitions.
